Allowing children to engage in a way that suits them best is so important to me, whether it be sitting up the front, hanging off a chair, standing up the back, watching from a distance, facing away etc.
This is why, when my group at Hartnett House Children's Centre asked to watch my session through a fish eye mirror 9 years ago, I said "what a great idea."
It was a perfect way for them to experience it from a different perspective and their faces beamed with excitement the entire time.

I can't believe these little bumble bees would be around 13 and 14 years old now.
I would love to know what they are all up to now.

After three weeks away, I will be returning back to my regular sessions this week.
My health is still very fragile but I miss you all too much so will give it a red hot go.

Can't wait to see my 400+ bumbles during the week.

For those who don't know, I was an early childhood

For those who don't know, I was an early childhood educator for 14 years before I became B Minor Music.
There was a wall in my room where I had random pics of different people from around Australia which I had cut out of an old Australia Post book.
One day, one of the parents came up to me, grabbed my arm and said, "Bree you have a picture of my dad in your room." She was bamboozled and I was puzzled as she pointed to my favorite picture of this beautiful old man who looks like his life has been full of amazing stories.
Funny thing is that he lived in Broome and came out of a book I had for at least ten years prior yet here we both were in Melbourne. What are the odds...it still blows my mind 12 years on.
