I will be attempting to return to all services this week but am still taking it day by day so will be in touch if I am unable to facilitate my experiences on that day.
In order to leave hospital I had a PICC line inserted so that I can continue my treatment away from the hospital.
Here is a social story you might like to show your children in order to prepare them for my return.
I am more than happy to answer any questions anyone may have and will allow the bumble bees to have a closer look in person or do anything needed to help them process it.

Rehearsals with these four legends from @showbiz_pas has begun for our annual collaboration to perform at @friend_in_me_ 2023 family day.
There will be live performances by B Minor Music and the showbiz performing arts studios performers, @bethanyfishermusic, @teamdreamau and includes special guests Anthony and Lauren from @storysurpriseau .
The day will be jam packed with rides, face painting, roaming characters, sensory spaces, a chill out room, butterfly house, animal farm and loads more.

After 4 weeks of not being able to facilitate my m

After 4 weeks of not being able to facilitate my music experiences and being in and out of hospital, I was finally discharged last night and will be attempting to return to all services next week.
I am currently connected to an IV drip for antibiotics infusions to fight the infection in my wound, (due to having Pyoderma gangrenisum) so will write up a social story to explain to all the children what it's about and send it to all of my services before my return.

I look forward to seeing everyone as it’s been far too long!

It's ground hog day… but this time I don't get t

It's ground hog day... but this time I don't get to come home for a while. 🤦
Came in this morning for ultrasounds on my leg and they were really happy with how everything was healing from the vascular surgery.
Came back in this arvo for my wound check up and they admitted me straight to ER as it's continued to grow since surgery and the black skin cells have spread to a larger area. So it's back to surgery to have the dead skin cells removed and then will stay in to have IVIG which is an intensive treatment to try and help my immune system fight this disease.
The doctors had to jump through many hoops to get approval from the government to start this treatment so fingers crossed it works.
It will be a monthly treatment for the next 6 or so months so looks like I am going to be here a bit. 🤪🥴

It's Neurodiversity Celebration week and as a AuDHDer, (Autistic with ADHD and auditory processing disorder) I am proud to say that I am neurodivergant.
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.
I can drive, run a successful business, parent my three children, hold several degrees have achieved many goals throughout my life and hold strong friendships. It just means that sometimes I have to work harder to achieve these goals, get burnt out easily and need to put strategies into place in order to meet the expectations of a neuro typical world.
Shout out to all of my fellow neurodivergants out there and in the words of Chloé Hayden we are different not less and I am so bloody proud to be different as that's what makes me who I am.

Attending B Minor Music experiences doesn't just stop when the sessions end.
The experiences and resources that children are exposed to allows them to continue to develop and grow in many areas once they have left.
Whenever we use the pom poms they shed so I always encourage the children to take home the pieces from the floor to create artwork with it.
Yesterday the very creative Jones made a dangly scarecrow using empty bottles, twine and the pom pom strings from our class.
How's that for creative upcycling and extending on his experience after a B Minor Music class?!?!?!?!
What a super star he is!!!
